We had a very special visitor at the Price office last week. After an article about Price’s successes appeared in the newspaper, we received a letter from a gentleman named Ted who had designed Price’s first logo back in the 1940s. Gerry Price was very moved by the letter and personally called Ted to arrange for him and his wife to come in to Price for a tour. Gerry picked them up, and they had a fun afternoon reflecting on how far things have come in 60 years! Check out our behind the scenes footage from Ted’s visit to Price below. Thanks to Ted and Moira for sharing their afternoon (and their memories) with us.
Anyone in the HVAC industry has likely seen, heard or met our inspirational leader, Gerry Price. It was very fitting that Gerry was asked to present an award at the Future Leaders of Manitoba 2010 event last week considering the leadership he demonstrates within Price, within the industry, and in the community. In the video below, you will see that Gerry was asked to help select the recipient of the Community Service award. Take a look at the clips to hear how impressed Gerry was with the candidates, and how he thinks, to put it in his words, “we are in good hands for the future!”
Good afternoon everyone,
We’ve shown a lot of videos on here about Price Research Center North in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, but we are also excited to show you our facilities in Suwanee, Georgia! While visiting Atlanta, Carly was lucky enough to receive a tour from James in the Atlanta Lab. James may be soft-spoken, but he certainly knows pretty much everything about the art and science of air distribution! Architects, designers, owners, engineers and anyone with an interest in air distribution can interactively learn about Price products and services in this high-tech lab – so enjoy this video tour today, and then contact us to book a tour for the near future. Certainly Carly enjoyed her tour a lot, but check out the video below to see why she ended up behind bars…
We took a trip down to Atlanta last week to visit the new Winder facility. This is the newest factory in the Price manufacturing family. Built in 2007, this plant was designed to support our new line of silencers and allow us to focus heavily on terminal unit production. Not only were there friendly, fun people there to greet us, but the equipment and the factory looked amazing. Check out Carly’s interview with Steve, the plant manager to learn more about this new facility!
