Price recently enjoyed a visit from members of the University of Manitoba Society of Automotive Engineers as a stop on their annual Sponsorship Tour.
Throughout the year five teams, comprised of nearly 100 undergraduate students, work on designing and building formula, formula hybrid, baja, aero, and micro-aero vehicles, all of which they enter into international competitions. In the fall a tour is arranged for the student group to showcase their work to their most valued sponsors and to receive industry feedback.
Price is proud to be involved with this organization and looks forward to seeing the vehicles after another year of hard work!
We had a very special visitor at the Price office last week. After an article about Price’s successes appeared in the newspaper, we received a letter from a gentleman named Ted who had designed Price’s first logo back in the 1940s. Gerry Price was very moved by the letter and personally called Ted to arrange for him and his wife to come in to Price for a tour. Gerry picked them up, and they had a fun afternoon reflecting on how far things have come in 60 years! Check out our behind the scenes footage from Ted’s visit to Price below. Thanks to Ted and Moira for sharing their afternoon (and their memories) with us.
